Program Booking Fee / Registration:

• All Patron Nepal Volunteer Program applications will require an Application Processing Fee in the form of USD$ 200 in addition to the respective quoted Volunteer Program fees. The Application Processing Fee will be non-refundable, but will only be partially refunded in the event of a severe illness or death occurring within the Volunteer Program Candidate's immediate family prior to the commencement of the Volunteer Program start date precludes their participation at that time. The fee will be used to cover the costs of processing the Volunteer Program Candidate's Application and any remaining funds will be considered to be a donation to the Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience" Charity.
• The one-time Application Processing Fee will be valid for a period of five (5) years from the initial date of application and will cover the cost the applicant’s future Volunteer Program application processing costs with respect to their possible future Patron Nepal Volunteer Program placements within the stated five-year period.

1) Transportation

• Airport pick up by Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience" staff with Nepali culture
• Pick up from hotel to Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience" office
• Hotel to project site on the first day with your luggage
• From the project site to Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience" office / Hotel on the last day with your luggage;

 2) 2 Days Program Orientation (Pre Service Training)

• Presentation on Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience" history, development, strategies, success and failure stories
• Survival Nepali language course; 2 hours each day during the induction
• Nepali culture; Do’s & Don’ts
• Presentation on Nepali history, politics, economy, social problems
• Health & Safety Tips
• Program related orientation, e.g. teacher training
• A half day sightseeing of world heritage sites, e.g. Patan Darbur Square/ Pashupatinath / Baudhanath Stupa
• Stationary & Handouts of the presentations
• Safe travel, trekking, adventure assistance

 3) Meals & Accommodation

• Accommodation on same gender sharing basis and lunch at Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience" ’s office during the program orientation.
• Breakfast and dinner during program orientation
• Meals & Accommodation during placement with a host family / hostel / monastery (depending on your program)
• The living standard will be of Nepali standard and 2 to 3 meals provided

4) Administrative Cost

• Staff salaries
• Office rent & office supplies
• Regular follow up support
• Meeting & socialization with volunteers & interns from different countries
• 24/7 emergency support
• Free wireless internet at our office
• Communications like internet & phone, letters
• Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience"  promotional visits

5) Community Project Funding

• Education & Health for the local poor children’s and local youth empowerment.

(My Child Sponsor Program)

• Children’s development: children’s education, school building, compound, classroom, toilet construction and material support, teacher training including community development too.

(My Interest Program)

• Community health: Free medical check-up. Lab, medicine, mobile clinics, school health and toilet construction for each poor families and eye check-up camp, finally well establishment of a community school, health post and a beautiful community village too.

(Mission My Destination Program)

• Project staff salaries
• Support for local volunteers

• Airfare, Visa and Visa extension fee – (check with your embassy or Nepal Immigration for the latest fee structure)- Visa (tourist) fee in USD$ 25 for 15 days, USD$ 40 for 30 days, USD$ 100 for 90 days; per additional day: USD$ 2 up to 5 months–Visa can be obtained upon arrival in Tri-Bhuvan International Airport.
• Travel and medical insurances, immunization, health expenses
• Criminal background check
• Return transfer to airport - Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience" staff can help you to drop you off the airport if you need help
• Transportation during weekends travel
• Entrance fees to the Cultural World Heritage Sites – USD$ 22.00 max for main cultural sites
• Personal travel and sightseeing (trekking, jungle safari etc. If you are interested Patron Nepal "Sharing Experience" can organize for you with affordable prices)
• Should you wish to spend more time in Kathmandu pre and post placement period, please remember to budget accordingly!
• Laundry, internet access, telephone, drinks or other costs accrued during training and placement
• Stationery during volunteering period if you wish to use much
• Gifts to project staffs and host family, if you wish to buy any
• You will also need a weekly budget of up to USD$ 20 to cater for all your other expenses like bottled water.
